It is maintenance carried out with the circuit energised, without interrupting supply. It calls for certified crews, strict procedures and special equipment. COTESA pioneered the technique in Brazil and performs live-line work at voltages up to 765 kV.
Licensed operating agents, with their own control centre and crews certified in the ONS grid procedures. COTESA runs a 24/7 Operations Centre with a hotline to the ONS regional control centres, representing its clients before the grid operator.
POWER GENERATION
