COTESA Engenharia specialises in the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of power generation and transmission assets. Founded in 1997, the company invests continuously in technology, innovation and technical knowledge, and was one of the first in Brazil to perform live-line maintenance, a high-complexity procedure carried out on energised systems.

We work on high and extra-high voltage assets connected to Brazil’s Basic Grid: transmission lines and substations up to 600 kV, hydroelectric plants, photovoltaic solar farms, wind farms, and the medium and high voltage systems of energy-intensive industrial plants.

We run a 24/7 System Operations Center staffed by a highly qualified team that meets each client’s specific needs. We pioneered the hotline connection to every regional operations center of Brazil’s grid operator (ONS): South, Southeast, North/Central-West and Northeast.
