That is 28 years in the power sector, since COTESA Engenharia was founded in 1997, with operations in 21 states + DF. Since 2024 the company has been part of the VINCI Group, one of the world’s largest concessions, energy and construction groups, present in around 120 countries.

From real-time operation at the 24/7 Operations Centre to field maintenance crews, including live-line work, one of the company’s pioneering specialities, through to the backoffice areas: accounting, legal, procurement, HSE and people management, among others.

COTESA brings together technical and administrative teams spread across 3 shared-services regional hubs nationwide.

LOOKING AFTER THE PEOPLE IN THE FIELD

STRUCTURED PREVENTION

  • Preparation and follow-up of the risk management and occupational health programmes required by law (PGR, PCMSO and others)
  • Management of mandatory training and continuous instruction on hazards and procedures
  • Monitoring the use of personal and collective protective equipment

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Development of technical procedures (e.g. Work at Height, Lockout/Tagout)
  • Investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses to drive improvements
  • Campaigns to prevent accidents and occupational illness
