OPERATION

COTESA has an Operations Center working 24×7 performing continuous monitoring of risks and failures, enabling immediate action to ensure repairs in the shortest possible time.

Currently, the company operates approximately 6.2 GW in O&M of Solar and Wind Generation Assets, 710 MW of Hydroelectric Generation, 85 Substations connected to the National Grid and 6,700 KM of High and Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines.

Services include real-time operation, pre and post-operation and the preparation of manuals, procedures, normative instructions and energization plans. COTESA also works in Operation Engineering, representing clients before ONS and other regulatory agencies.

MAINTENANCE

COTESA maintains local teams working directly at plants, performing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance. Maintenance services are executed in an integrated manner with operations, ensuring optimal operational performance.

The company performs performance indicator management, monitoring deviations and ensuring actions at management and strategic levels. Performs Live-Line services up to 600 kV and provides support in technical documentation, supplier contracting and equipment procurement.

Each contract has a contingency plan adapted to its specificities, aimed at restoring systems affected by incidents while preserving installations and the environment.

CONSULTING ENGINEERING

COTESA offers Owner's Engineering services, encompassing a set of specialized competencies:

  • Analysis of Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Executive Projects
  • Analysis of Electrical Studies
  • Civil works and assembly of transmission lines and substations
  • Topography and geology services
  • Assembly Supervision and Construction Inspection
  • Substation Protection, Control and Supervision Systems (SPCS)
  • Preparation of Technical Specifications

COTESA also offers commissioning solutions for substations, small hydroelectric plants and transmission lines, in DC and AC, ensuring systems and equipment comply with project requirements.
